Effective date: 15th of December 2009

Scope: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and South Asia to Australia.

Amount: USD250/500 per 20'/40'

Comments: As members of the South East Asia / Australia Trade Facilitation Agreement (ALM), Maersk Line will implement a rate increase as per 15th of December for all business from South East Asia and South Asia to Australia. This rate increase is a reflection of the current unsustainable rate levels that will not allow shipping lines to continue offering their current service portfolio.
